MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Corven Jones was sentenced Tuesday to four years in prison for his role in a Virginia-to-Wisconsin drug ring.
Jones, 30, was previously convicted of delivery of amphetamine. He was also placed on extended for six years by Judge Mark Rohrer, court records show.
Jones was one of several suspects charged, although the other three were prosecuted in federal court. Karonn Hamilton and Andre Allen were each sentenced to eight years, six months in federal prison. Anhuar Garcia-Tarabay has a status conference Dec. 2.
The suspects were arrested after a traffic stop in Manitowoc County in which investigators found more than 24 pounds of meth.
