DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Visitors to the Mulva Cultural Center can explore a new exhibit highlighting advances in cancer detection, treatment and prevention.
The exhibit, “The Journey to End Cancer — From Cause to Cure,” is the first of three now on display. It features immersive displays and hands-on activities designed for both children and adults, with a focus on cutting-edge therapies and research that are changing cancer care.
“We want to brings things that inspire people to learn something new,” said Marvin Wall, executive director of the Mulva Cultural Center. “There’s a lot to learn in what’s new and innovative in treating cancer and so there’s a lot of interesting components to that.”
The other two exhibits are centered around art. All three exhibits are available to visit through Jan. 3.
