(LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers will try to bounce back from their 17-7 loss to UCLA on Saturday when they host USC at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday night.
Badgers coach Luke Fickell said that his team can’t play like they did at UCLA and expect to win.
Fickell also talked about how in three straight games, Colton Joseph has completed less than 50% of his passes.
Fickell’s defense will be facing a tough task in slowing down USC quarterback Jayden Maiava who is No. 1 in the Big Ten in passing and No. 2 in the country.
Fickell said that they need to be better on pass defense.
He said that passing stats don’t always tell the entire story.
Badgers running backs had just 12 carries last week. Fickell said that while they have quarterback who eats up some of those carries, do they need to get more carries for their backs?
The game can be seen beginning at 6:30 Saturday night on NBC.
