GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A long-vacant historic building in downtown Green Bay is getting a new chapter, with a law firm and a concert venue moving into the restored space.
The Schauer & Schumacher building at 109 N. Adams St. had sat vacant for more than two decades. It is now home to the city’s oldest law firm, The Everson Law Firm.
Originally built in the 1920s, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2019. The restoration was spearheaded by Investment Creations, a company based in Neenah.
“It was really important for us to keep the firm here in the heart of Green Bay, downtown. It took a lot of different options and opportunities, but when this one came together, it was just fantastic. It was a lot of work,” said Randall Petrouske, an attorney with the Everson Law Firm.
The building will also be home to the concert venue “Reverly”, which will have a capacity of more than 400 people.
