ASUNCION, Nov 6 (Reuters) – Paraguay police arrested former President Santiago Peña on Friday, local media outlet ABC reported, shortly after he was impeached by lawmakers over his alleged involvement in a bank scandal.
His vice president Pedro Alliana was sworn in after Peña’s impeachment.
