TOWN OF LITTLE RIVER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An 86-year-old Oconto woman is dead after being hit by a car.
Just after 2:00 p.m. Thursday, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash near the 7000 block of Hillcrest Road in the Town of Little River.
The 86-year-old woman was found unresponsive. First responders deemed her beyond medical assistance and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 75-year-old Oconto woman was driving southbound on Hillcrest Road and hit the 86-year-old.
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office says this is an ongoing investigation between it and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Wisconsin State Patrol, Coleman Rescue, and Little River Fire Department also assisted the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office.
