APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A teacher at a Grand Chute private school pleaded not guilty Tuesday to allegedly having sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy.
Keisha Stuart, 32, pleaded not guilty to three counts, including second-degree sexual assault of a child, and sexual misconduct by a school staff member. No trial date was set. A plea hearing was set for Dec. 10, court records show.
The Menasha Police Department said Stuart worked at Fundamentals School, which is not a part of the Menasha Joint School District.
According to the criminal complaint, the school alerted police after finding a letter from Stuart to the teenager, which raised suspicions.
The boy “confirmed that the relationship with his teacher became inappropriate.” On his phone, authorities found video of Stuart removing her clothing, the complaint states. He then described the various sex acts the two engaged in.
When police arrested Stuart, she declined to comment, the complaint says.
