(247NEWSSOURCE) – The Wisconsin football team landed an in-state recruit on Wednesday. Three-star linebacker Keaton Wollan flipped his commitment from Iowa State to the Badgers. The Amery native is the ninth in-state prospect to commit to UW in the 2027 recruiting class.
Softball set to face Baylor: The Wisconsin softball team begins its postseason run this week.
The Badgers will take on Baylor in their first game of the Austin Regional on Friday.
Host Texas and Wagner are the other two teams in the double-elimination bracket.
AD search begins: A nine-member search committee has started its work to find a replacement for Wisconsin athletic director Chris McIntosh.
The university made the announcement Tuesday.
McIntosh resigned April 13th to take a position with the Big Ten Conference.
The former general manager of the UW football program, Marcus Sedberry, is holding the position on an interim basis. School officials hope to fill the position this summer.
