APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Appleton Police announced it has arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting at Arbutus Park earlier this month.
Police arrested 17-year-old Owen Nyamhondoro of Appleton. Nyamhondoro is in custody at the Outagamie County Jail.
Police are recommending the following charges:
- One count of Reckless Injury in accordance with WI 940.23(1)(a)
- Two counts of Recklessly Endangering Safety in accordance with WI 941.30(1)
During the investigation, police determined the shooting was a targeted confrontation between people known to each other.
